Gjirokaster
The stone city of Gjirokastra, a UNESCO site from 2005, is one of the most visited destinations in Albania. Here you can find traces of the descendants of the Kaon tribe, from the III AD and the various Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman invaders. The list of the ‘Must attractions in Gjirokastra’ is huge and diverse. Objects such as the castle from the VI-XII centuries, the 500 houses of the Ottoman period in the XVII century, declared cultural monuments, the old Bazaar of Qafë e Pazarit (XVIII century) are the main attractions included in all tours in Gjirokastro.
Sarande

The thermal baths of Bënja, located a few minutes from the city center are sulfur springs that emanate from deep tectonic faults on both sides of the Lengarica Canyon, forming six natural thermal baths. Known for its different therapeutic properties, the water of these latter reaches a temperature of 28˚ Celsius. The city of Vlora was established in the sixth century B.C. and was originally called Aulona. Nestled in a stunning, it lies in front of the Karaburun peninsula and Sazan Island, surrounded by beautiful beaches and rocky sands. Vlora holds significant historical importance for Albania, as it was the of the First National Assembly, which proclaimed the country's independence from Ottoman rule on November 28, 191. The Museum of Independence commemorates this pivotal event, alongside other museums that showcase ethnographic and historical exhibits.
Butrint
Butrint, an archaeological site in southern Albania, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a Ramsar-designated National Park, highlighting its ecological and historical significance. This area is home to various species with unfavorable conservation statuses, such as Numenius tenuirostris, Caretta caretta, Dermochelys coriacea, and Monachus monachus, and serves as a crucial habitat for marine life, supporting vital fish spawning, feeding, and migration. Additionally, Butrint's local economy relies on activities like fishing, mussel farming, livestock raising, vineyards, and cultural tourism, promoting both conservation and sustainable development.
Velipoje
Velipoja është një fshat në komunën Velipojë në rrethin e Shkodrës të Shqipërisë. Derdhja e Bunës në veri të vendit shënjon drejt jugut vijën bregdetare shqiptare. Ranishtja më veriore e vendit është ajo e Velipojës, që gjendet rreth 25 km larg qytetit të Shkodër. Këtu ka mbi 250 ditë me diell. Gjatë verës temperaturat arrijnë mbi 30 °C. Pranë ranishtes të Velipojës ndodhet edhe laguna e Vilunit me një sipërfaqe prej rreth 130 hektarë.
